Middle School Programs
Middle School Programs are designed to empower girls ages 12–14 with the knowledge, skills and attitude to make healthy decisions, achieve academic success, and develop positive relationships with adults and peers.
It is built on four cornerstones: academic support, personal development, career exploration and physical well-being.
Odyssey
Odyssey is a free after-school program for 6th, 7th, and 8th-grade girls that offers structured enrichment programming, academic help, and mentoring. It serves girls of diverse backgrounds to build their strengths, meet their various needs, provide resources and support, and nurture their dreams. We offer a safe, stimulating place that guides them in their development and decision-making during this crucial, wonderful, challenging time in their lives. Programming includes:
- STEM activities – engineering, food science, math, crime scene investigation, and more
- Art and design programs
- Peer leadership opportunities
Eureka
Eureka is our free six-week summer STEM program for youth entering 7th, 8th, and 9th grades. The program allows girls to develop the “I Can Do It!” attitude by challenging their minds, bodies, and spirits in and out of the classroom. Programming includes:
- Weekly field trips
- STEM and design classes
- Peer leadership and personal development
- Paid internships for girls who finish their final year of Eureka
